I’m currently listening to the Ray Charles channel on Pandora. Etta James’ “At Last” just came on, which many would argue is the most beautiful song ever recorded by a human being.
How insanely incredible is the human voice? I mean, holy fucking hell.
The fact this woman can basically talk on pitch in a rhythmic, melodic way as to make music and art out of her own voice is nuts. Not to mention, when it floats through the air or crawls through headphones into our ears, it can be so pleasurable it actually releases dopamine like some kind of fucking drug.
Think on that.
